Jyotsna Rewal Dua , J Notice. Mr. Y.P.S. Dhaulta, learned Additional Advocate General, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard at this stage. 2. Petitioner is serving as Trained Graduate Teacher (Arts) at Government Senior Secondary School Haripurdhar, District Sirmour. Her case is that she has completed more than three years 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes 2 of service at the aforesaid hard/tribal area, therefore, she required to be transferred to a soft area of her choice. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has preferred a representation on 28.04.20225 (Annexure P-2) to respondent No.2/competent authority, seeking her transfer to a soft area on completion of requisite tenure at Hard/Tribal area, however, no concrete action on her representation has been taken till date. Learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner would be content, in case, she is permitted to furnish a fresh representation, giving fresh options therein for her transfer to soft area of her choice to respondent No.2/competent authority, whereafter, the said respondent/competent authority, be directed to decide the representation to be made by him, in a time bound manner. Learned Additional Advocate General has no objection to this prayer. 4. In view of above & looking into the grievance of the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of by permitting the petitioner to make a fresh representation to respondent No.2/competent authority for her transfer from Hard/Tribal area, within a period of two weeks from today, who shall in turn, consider and decide the same, in accordance with law and applicable policy, within a further period of three weeks. The order so passed be also communicated to the petitioner. 3 Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of. Jyotsna Rewal Dua Judge May 30, 2025(rohit)
