This contempt petition has been filed alleging willful and deliberate violation of this Court’s Order dated 27.02.2023 Page No.# 2/2 passed in WP(C) No. 5721/2021. Mr. S.M.T. Chistie on the last occasion had submitted the order of this Court had been complied with the passing of the order dated 19.11.2024 by the Director of Elementary Education, Assam. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner had submitted that the petitioner was not given the opportunity of hearing. In view of such submission, the learned counsel was asked to obtain instructions in this regard. Today, the learned counsel has produced the attendance of the hearing which was conducted on 15.09.2023 in connection with WP(C) No. 5721/2021 wherein the petitioner has clearly appended his signature. The learned counsel submits that the petitioner was present and was also given an opportunity of hearing. Considering the submission made and upon perusal of the attendance produced by Mr. S.M.T. Chistie, it appears that the order of this Court has been complied with. The contempt petition accordingly stands closed.
