.2025 Heard Mr. J. Islam, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. A.K. Ghosh, learned counsel for the respondent No.1. This Interlocutory Application has been filed for impleadment of opposite party No.2 namely Smt. Keerthi Jalil, IAS, Commissioner, Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Panjabari, Juripar, Guwahati-37 as respondent No.2. The contempt petition being Cont.Cas(C) No. 413/2024 has been filed by the petitioner alleging wilful disobedience of the directions contained in the
order dated 09.04.2024 passed in WP(C) No. 627/2024 and which directions were required to be complied with by the Commissioner of P&RD Department, Government of Assam. In view of the non-compliance of the directions passed by the Court contained in the order dated 09.04.2024 passed in WP(C) No. 627/2024 the opposite party No.2 namely Smt. Keerthi Jalil, IAS, Commissioner, Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Panjabari, Juripar, Guwahati-37 is a necessary party in the accompanying contempt petition being Cont.Cas(C) No.413/2024. Mr. A.K. Ghosh, learned counsel for the respondent No.1 does not object to the prayer made. Accordingly the interlocutory application stands allowed. The opposite party No.2 namely Smt. Keerthi Jalil, IAS, Commissioner, Panchayat and Rural
Page No.# 3/3 Development Department, Panjabari, Juripar, Guwahati-37 is arrayed as respondent No.2 in Cont.Cas(C) No. 413/2024. The petitioner will file amended cause title before the Registry within one week from today. The copy of this order will be retained in the Cont.Cas(C) No. 413/2024. Accordingly this interlocutory application stands disposed of.
