The petitioner is an employee of respondent no.2 claims interest of some arrear payments in terms of the memorandum dated July 21, 2000 issued by the Chairman-cum-Managing Director of the Organization the petitioner submitted its representation dated January 4, 2024 annexure p-2 at page 13 to the writ petition. Mr. Rabindra Das Mitra, learned advocate appears for the petitioner. Ms. Deblina Chattoraj, learned advocate with Ms. Poulami Chattopadhyay, learned advocate appears for respondent nos. 2 to 5 submits that the necessary amount is lying with the respondent no. 2 wherefrom the petitioner shall have to collect after production of relevant records and documents. In view of the above, learned counsel for the respondent submits that the petitioner has to make a 2 formal request by attaching the relevant circular dated July 10, 2024 to the respondent no. 2 whereupon the money shall be released. Accordingly, the petitioner shall be at liberty to make a formal request before the respondent no. 2 attaching the said circular dated July 10, 2024. In the event, such a formal request is submitted by the petitioner the respondent no. 2 shall release the amount in accordance with law upon verification of all the necessary documents and records in favour of the petitioner positively within a period of four weeks from the date of receiving such formal request from the petitioner. It is made clear that, this court has not gone into the merits of the writ petition. Since affidavits are not called for, the allegations made in this writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted by the respondents. With the above observations and directions, this writ petition, WPA 6995 of 2024 stands disposed of, without any order as to costs.
