Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel appearing on behalf of the opposite parties. 2. Present petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India has been filed seeking direction to authority concerned to assign seniority to petitioner on the post of Constable Armourer with effect from 16.09.2014 instead of 23.09.2014 in parity with other similarly situated persons selected through the same select list dated 16.09.2014. Consequential benefits have also been sought. 3. It is submitted that with regard to such grievance, recommendation has already been made by letter dated 25.04.2025 but is not being acted upon. 4. Since considering petitioner's grievance would entail factual aspects, liberty is granted to petitioner to file fresh representation before opposite party no.3 i.e. Deputy Inspector General of Police, Logistic, D.G.P. Head Quarter U.P., Lucknow. In case such a representation is filed, the same is required to be decided by authority concerned expeditiously by a reasoned and speaking order within a period of six weeks from receipt of representation of petitioner along with a certified copy of this order. 5.
