Jyotsna Rewal Dua, Judge Petitioner has challenged her termination ordered by the respondents on 21.07.2019. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in view of Rule 137(3) of the Himachal Pradesh Panchayati Raj (General) Rules, 1997, the petitioner has a remedy to challenge the aforesaid termination order before the Appellate Authority. He, therefore, prays that the petitioner be permitted to avail the said remedy in the first instance.

Taking into consideration the above submission, this writ petition is disposed of by permitting the petitioner to take recourse to the aforesaid remedy. In case such recourse is adopted by the petitioner within two weeks by preferring

an appeal, as provided under the Rules, the same shall be considered and decided on merits by the Appellate Authority in accordance with law within six weeks thereafter. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also to stand disposed of.
