Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGA for the State. This petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "1. Issue a writ, direction or order in the nature of mandamus, directing the concerned police authorities to commanding the Respondents No.1 to 3 to conduct a fair and impartial investigation in Case Crime No.0144 of 2025, lodged under Sections 115(2), 351(3), 191(2) of BNS on 04.06.2025 registered at Police Station Vazirganj, District Lucknow. 2. Direct the police authorities to arrest the accused holding the allegation to be of a serious nature; wherein arrest should have been taken place at very first instance. 3. Direct the police authorities to take immediate action and ensure the safety and security of the Petitioner and her daughter." Learned AGA for the State, on the basis of instructions, submits that after investigation in pursuance of the F.I.R. No. 0144 of 2025, the chargesheet has been forwarded against the accused on 27.07.2025. Thus, this petition has rendered infructuous. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is being harassed by the accused person(s), therefore, she prays for security/protection of the petitioner. And Others .....Respondent(s) In view of above, the petition is disposed of in terms of the statement of learned AGA for the State with liberty to move an application before the Commissioner of Police, Commissionerate, Lucknow in regard to the prayer for protection of the petitioner, which shall be considered by the concerned. In case, any such application is moved within a period of one week from today, the same shall be considered expeditiously and appropriate order shall be passed within a further period of one week and communicated to the petitioner forthwith.
