Petition has been filed seeking a direction to concerned authority for granting promotion from the post of Head Constable, Civil Police to the post of Sub Inspector with effect from 19 October 2024 when juniors to petitioner have been promoted. Consequential service benefits have also been sought. 3. Since petitioner's grievances would require consideration of factual aspects, liberty is granted to petitioner to make a fresh representation before opposite party No. 3 i.e. Deputy Inspector General of Police (Establishment), Head Quarter, Director General of Police, U.P., Lucknow. In case such a representation is filed, the same is required to be decided within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the said authority. 4.
