By means of present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner who is working on the post of Deputy Jailer at Central Jail, Naini Prayagraj wants to be transferred in Agra zone. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that request of the petitioner is pending considered before the competent authority. Learned Standing Counsel has obtained instructions in the matter and placed the same before this Court and as per instructions, previous request on the same point raised by the petitioner has already been rejected vide order dated 12.7.2024, however, same has not been challenged. It is further submitted that since petitioner is jailer, he cannot be posted at his home town. Be that as it may, since representation of the petitioner has already been rejected, no further direction can be issued to the authority . Petition lacks merit and is accordingly rejected.
