Under challenge is the punishment order dated 31.05.2025, a copy of which is annexure 1 to the writ petition. 3. The legal ground taken by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the punishment as imposed by means of the order impugned is not a punishment as specified under the rules and consequently, the same could not have been imposed. 4. Sri Rajeev Kumar Sinha, learned counsel appearing on behalf of all the respondents does not dispute that the punishment as imposed upon the petitioner is not prescribed under the rules. 5. Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is allowed. The order impugned dated 21.05.2025, a copy of which is annexure 1 to the writ petition is set aside.
