Heard Sri Ajeet Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State. This petition has been filed with following main prayer:- "(i) issue, a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding thereby directing to the respondent authorities to ensure fair and transparent investigation in the petitioner's matter with respect to F.I.R. dated 08.05.2025, bearing F.I.R. No.0148/2025, under Section 115(2), 352, 351(2), 324(2), 109(1) B.N.S., lodged at Police Station Nawabganj, District Gonda and arrest the accused persons." Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the F.I.R. was lodged on 08.05.2025, but till date, investigation has not been concluded. Per contra, learned A.G.A. for the State, on the basis of instructions, submits that the investigation is going on and one accused, namely, Akshay Singh has also been arrested. He further submits that the investigation shall be concluded expeditiously. In view of above, this petition is disposed of with direction to the S.S.P./S.P., Gonda to ensure that the investigation is concluded expeditiously, failing which, the petitioner shall have liberty to approach the concerned Magistrate in view of judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Ganesh Nath Mishra, Ajeet Kumar Counsel for Respondent(s) : G.A.
