Heard the counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Firdaus who appears for the respondent. 2. The present application has been filed seeking transfer of the proceedings pending before the Family Court No.4 to an appropriate court at Sitapur. 3. The contention of the counsel for the applicant is that earlier, the applicant had approached this court and filed a transfer application No.223 of 2024 and on the request of the applicant, proceedings were transferred by this court to the court of Additional Principal Judge, Family Court No.4 at Lucknow vide order dated 16.05.2025. In the said application, a request was made to transfer the proceedings to any appropriate court at Lucknow or to any other adjacent city like Barabanki or Sitapur. 4. It is stated that after the transfer of the proceedings, the applicant was issue threat on 12.08.2025 at the Lucknow - Sitapur main road for which, a complaint was made at the IGRS Portal. 5. In the light of the said, it is argued that the proceedings should be transferred to any appropriate court at Sitapur. 6. The counsel for the respondent opposes the said application by arguing that the proceedings are at the final stage and the present application is an abuse of the process of the law. 7. A perusal of the order dated 16.05.2025 indicates that the proceedings which are sought to be transferred are of the year 2012 and the present application is without any supporting documents or even an FIR lodged at the instance of the applicant, no good ground for transfer is made out. 8. The application is rejected. 9. However, in case the applicant approaches the appropriate court for providing security and if it is deemed to be correct, the appropriate court shall take appropriate steps for providing security.
