Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Aprajita Bansal, learned counsel for the respondents. 2. This writ petition has been filed with the following main prayers:- "i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari thereby quashing the impugned recovery notice dated 22-09-2024 as well as 22- 07-2024, contained in Annexure No. 1 and 3 issued by the opp. party no.2 and 3 against the petitioner without any justified and valid reason; and ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby restraining the opposite parties from taking any action against the petitioner without following due legal procedure and to proceed with recovery on the basis of impugned recovery notice, Annexure No.1" 3. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents says that the petitioner has remedy of filing an appeal under Section 127 of the Electricity Act, 2003 against an order giving final assessment. 4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of leaving it open for the petitioner to file an appeal before the Competent Authority.
