Borthakur, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of State respondent no. 1. 2. This is an application u/s 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 for granting pre-arrest bail to the accused petitioner in probable case registered under the Dispur police station. 3. Mr. Baishya, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted in this regard that Report has already been received from the Officer Incharge, Dispur police station whereby it is reported that till date no case has been registered against the present petitioner in Dispur P.S. 4. Mr. Abdullah submitted in this regard that he has the apprehension of filing of any FIR or registration of the case against him due to statement made by him which is reflected in para 3 of the petition and at the same time the page 8 Annexure-1 is the relevant portion of the news which was published in Pratidin Time. But, from the Report of the I/O it is seen that till date there is no registration of this case against the present petitioner. However, the petitioner may approach the Court if any such case/FIR is lodged against him. But, till date there is no need to extend the privilege of pre-arrest bail of the present petitioner at this stage. 5. With the above observation, the petition stands disposed of and the Report of the Officer Incharge of Dispur police station be a part of the record. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
