This is an application filed under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 in respect of PRC No. 1413/2023 pending in the court of the learned SDJM (M), South Salmara, Mankachar. In a sessions triable case, the petitioner has been shown as absconder in the chargesheet. The petitioner now apprehends that if he appears before the learned SDJM(M), South Salmara, Page No.# 2/2 Mankachar, he shall be remanded to custody as the learned SDJM(M), South Salmara, Mankachar does not have the jurisdiction to entertain the bail application of the petitioner. Petitioner further submits that he is interested in facing the trial. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for both the sides. Since the petitioner is interested in facing the trial, he deserves to be given an opportunity. Hence, the prayer of the petitioner is allowed. Accordingly, the petitioner Sahadul Islam @ Sahad Islam is directed to appear before the learned court of the learned SDJM(M), South Salmara, Mankachar in connection with PRC No. 1413/2023 within 10 (ten) days from today and on his appearance, the petitioner shall be allowed to go on bail of Rs.20,000/- with one surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned SDJM(M), South Salmara, Mankachar.
