By means of present writ petition, the petitioner has prayed the following main relief(s):- "(I) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari thereby quash the impugned First Information Report dated 01.07.2025 lodged by the opposite party no. 6/complainant as F.I.R. No. 0108/2025, Under Section-115 (2), 352, 351 (3), 324 (2), 76, 333 & 64 of BNS Act, 2023 & Section-3/4 POCSO Act, 2012, Police Station- Kumarganj, District-Ayodhya, so far as it relates to the present petitioner, as contained in Annexure No. 2 to the writ petition. [II] Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing to the opposite parties not to arrest or harass the petitioner in pursuance of the impugned First Information Report dated 01.07.2025 lodged by the opposite party no. 6/complainant as F.I.R. No. 0108/2025, Under Section-115 (2), 352, 351 (3), 324 (2), 76, 333 & 64 of BNS Act, 2023 & Section-3/4 POCSO Act, 2012, Police Station- Kumarganj, District-Ayodhya, contained in Annexure No. 1 to the writ petition." Sri Srivastava, learned A.G.A. has produced a copy of instructions/ letter dated 07.09.2025 which is taken on record. As per the aforesaid instructions, during the course of investigation, the name of the present petitioner has been dropped as no incriminating material or evidence has been found against him.
