The petitioner wants this Court to have the encroachment in Survey No.217/9, Emur Village to be removed. 3. The learned counsel for the impleaded respondents states that it is a patta land and that they have individual plots. 4. The learned Additional Government Pleader submits that originally, the survey number was shown as patta land. But then, during UDR, even though the pattadhar's names were mentioned, the survey number was shown as “g+];jpjp Vhp” in the remarks column. The learned counsel for the impleaded respondents submit that this was an error that crept in during UDR. If that be so, it has to be corrected by the District Revenue Officer. We grant liberty to the private respondents to move the District Revenue Officer for correction. Before the District Revenue Officer passes any order, the petitioner will be put on notice. We make it clear that we have not gone into the merits of the matter. So long as the revenue record remains as it is by defining the character of the petition mentioned survey number as “g+];jpjp Vhp”, no development activities can go on. 3/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.(MD)No.23445 of 2024 5.
