According to the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the petitioner was appointed in the respondent Transport Corporation as a Helper and he had attained superannuation on 30.06.2023. The retirement benefits were disbursed belatedly to the writ petitioner only on 16.04.2025. Hence, he sent a representation on 08.08.2025 seeking interest for the belated payment.
