The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Lower Bazar P.S. Case No. 78/2024 corresponding to S.T. Case No. 757/2024, for the offences registered under Section 376 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner- XV, Ranchi. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No.7280 of 2024 by order dated 05.12.2024. On 05.03.2024, the petitioner forcibly took the victim to Shivani Hotel situated near, Khadgarha Bus Stand, Kantatoli and raped her. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that statement of the victim recorded during trial in which she has admitted that she used to take money from the petitioner, she has also admitted that she used to chat with the petitioner for very long duration. The victim in her statement during trial has supported the fact that petitioner has raped her. In view of the aforesaid fact, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
