Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned state counsel for opposite parties. 2. Petition has been filed seeking a direction to concerned authority to sanction ex gratia payment in terms of Government Order dated 1st June 2021, since petitioner's wife passed away during COVID services. 3. Learned state counsel has been provided written instructions dated 19th August 2025, which are taken on record and as per which petitioner's representation has already been rejected vide order dated 24th June 2021 finding her ineligible. It is submitted that the aforesaid order has not been challenged by petitioner. 4. In view of the aforesaid, the petition is dismissed, as withdrawn, granting liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh effecting challenge to the order dated 24th June 2021.
