Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Jaldega P.S. Case No. 35 of 2023 (S.T. Case No.30 of 2025), for the offences registered under Sections 302 and 201 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Simdega. On 02.08.2023, dead body of an unknown person was recovered from Mama Bhagina Road. It was submitted that the petitioner is neither named in the FIR nor any incriminating article was recovered on his pointing out. It was further submitted that the name of the petitioner has transpired in the confession of co-accused. It was finally submitted that co-accused Pradeep Kumar Sharma @ Pappu has been granted bail by this Court vide B.A. No.10115 of 2024 and the case of the petitioner stands on similar footing. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail but does not dispute the aforesaid facts. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Simdega, in connection with Jaldega P.S.
