Petitioner has sought to quash the complaint and FIR in Crime No.342/2017 registered at Rajagopal Nagar Police Station for offences punishable under Section 504, 420, 323, 506(B) and Section 324 of IPC. 3. It is the case of prosecution that, complainant was working in one Varma Industries Company between - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:11768 WP No. 25867 of 2017 the period 2002 to 2010 and as he was demanding to increase the salary and to provide other facilities, the petitioner, Manager of the company came with rowdy elements near his house on 15.04.2012, assaulted and threatened him etc. 4. Private complaint filed before the learned Magistrate was referred to Police for investigation, consequent to which the aforementioned crime was registered. The statutory duty of the Police to investigate into the offences alleged cannot be interfered. If any adverse report is filed, petitioner is at liberty to challenge the same.
