Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel, who appears for the State-respondents and perused the record. 2. This writ petition has been filed by petitioner with following main prayers: "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the opposite party no.2 & 3 to decide the representation dated 28/06/2025 moved by the petitioners, which is annexed as Annexure No.1 to this petition. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the opposite party no.2 & 3 to ensure the restoration of possession of the petitioners over the land in question i.e. Gata No. 177, in the interest of justice." 3. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that respondent nos. 4 to 7 are encroaching upon land of the petitioner for which he has made a representation to the Tehsildar, Tehsil Akbarpur, District Ambedkar Nagar, a copy of which has been filed as Annexure no.1 to the writ petition. 4. From a perusal of the Annexure No.1 to the writ petition, it is evident that the allegation is against private respondents for taking over the land of the petitioner.
