This Application has been filed for quashing the entire proceedings of Special Sessions Trial No.111 of 2023, “State vs. Divyansh”, pending before the court of learned Special Judge (POCSO)/ Additional District & Sessions Judge, Haridwar under Sections 376(2)(n), 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, Section 3(a) read with Section 4, Section 5(l) read with Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and Section 67 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. 2 . Heard Mr. Gaurav Singh, learned counsel for 1 2025:UHC:11617 the applicant and Mr. Akshay Latwal, learned Brief Holder for the respondent no.1. 3 . Applicant-accused has sought a relief in the alternative to direct the learned Special Judge (POCSO)/ Additional District & Sessions Judge, Haridwar to expedite and conclude the proceedings of Special Sessions Trial No.111 of 2023, as expeditiously as possible. 4 . The victim (PW1) (aged about 17 years) and her mother (PW2), the informant of the First Information Report, have not supported the case of the prosecution. They turned hostile. 5 .
