Alamgir, learned counsel for the petitioner. Alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 21.02.2024 passed by this Court in WP(C) No.855/2024 this Contempt Case has been filed. By the order dated 21.02.2024 a direction was issued by this Court upon the authorities to consider the representation filed by the petitioner and dispose of the same. Page No.# 2/2 Today when the matter is called up, Ms. P. Baruah, learned counsel appearing for the sole respondent submits that by the order dated 30.08.2024 the representation submitted by the petitioner has been considered and rejected. As such, the order of this Court has been complied with. Mr. Alamgir, learned counsel for the petitioner, on the other hand, submits that since the post in which the petitioner could have been accommodated is still vacant, there is no justifiable ground for the authorities to reject the representation of the petitioner. Mr. Alamgir might be justified in making such submission. However, the said aspect of the matter cannot be gone into in this Contempt Case. Therefore, by granting liberty to the petitioner to avail appropriate legal remedy, this Contempt Case stands closed. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
