Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:25977 Court No. - 5 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 2335 of 2025 Petitioner :- Pooja Kumari Respondent :- State Bank Of India Sbi And Another Counsel for Petitioner :- Virendra Kumar Yadav Counsel for Respondent :- Satish Chaturvedi Hon'ble Ajay Bhanot,J. Heard Shri Virendra Kumar Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioner, Ms. Archana Singh, learned counsel for the respondents and learned Standing Counsel for the State. The petitioner claims that his case on compassionate ground appointment has not been considered. A representation in this regard has been made to the competent authority but to no avail. The only prayer made on behalf of the petitioner is that his representation may be decided within a stipulated period of time. Ms. Archana Singh, learned counsel for the respondents submits that the matter requires factual determination including the financial status of the family and other considerations as per applicable laws and Government Orders by the competent authority in the first instance. However, he fairly contends that the purpose of appointment on compassionate ground will be defeated in case the appointments are not processed in a reasonable period of time. In light of the submissions made at the Bar and without going into the merits of the case, the respondent authority is directed to decide the representation of the petitioner for grant of appointment on compassionate ground as per law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order along with a fresh copy of the representation. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is finally disposed of. Order Date :- 24.2.2025 Vandit Digitally signed by :- VANDIT AGRAWAL High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
