Mr. Piyush Chandel, Advocate, vice Mr. Ashok Kumar Verma, Advocate, for the respondent. Cr. MP No.2157 of 2025 This Court had directed the respondent to furnish the his personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court within a period of two weeks’ with an undertaking to appear in the Court as and when directed and in the event of the acceptance of the appeal to surrender before the learned Trial Court to undergo the sentence, if any, imposed by the Court. Respondent had failed to comply with the order dated 22.03.2025, and he had filed the present application seeking extension of time. No reply to the application has been filed. Keeping in view, the fact that the petitioner has been acquitted by the learned Trial Court and the appeal has been preferred against the acquittal, it will not be proper to send the petitioner to the prison during the pendency of the appeal; hence, the time granted by the Court on 22.03.2025 is extended by three weeks.
