It is submitted by Mr. Sarma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, that the report as called for has already been received from the Investigating Officer. Upon perusal of the said report, it appears that no case has been registered against the present petitioners to date, and thus, it could not be established whether the alleged transactions were made by the petitioners or not. In view of this, and in the absence of any registered case or apprehension of arrest, a blanket order of protection cannot be granted. However, the petitioners shall be at liberty to file a fresh application for bail in the event of registration of any case against them.
