The petition has been filed seeking the following relief: “(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding opposite party No. 5 / Executive Engineer, Provincial Division, Public Works Department, Civil Line, District Sitapur, to take a decision in view of the recommendation letter dated 28.08.2024 sent by opposite party No. 6 / Executive Engineer, Construction Division, Public Works Department, District Sitapur, and the representation dated 11.08.2023 of the petitioners regarding restoration of the designation of Mate to them for the period during which it was changed from Mate to Beldar, as contained in Annexures No. 1 and 2 to the writ petition, in the interest of justice.” 3. Since consideration of the petitioners’ grievance would entail factual aspects, liberty is granted to the petitioners to file fresh individual representations before opposite party No. 5, Executive Engineer, Provincial Division, Public Works Department, Civil Line, District Sitapur, who shall consider and decide the same in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the petitioners’ representations along with a certified copy of this order. 4.
