Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Service-1 appearing on behalf of the respondents. The petitioner who has been working as Town Planning Supervisor was issued charge memo vide G.O.Rt.No.224 dated 21.02.2024, leveling 2 articles of chares on the allegations that she failed to prevent and identify the authorized constructions, for which the petitioner submitted her explanation on 14.04.2024, refuting the same. Likewise, she was also issued another charge memo vide G.O.Rt.No.34 dated 21.01.2025, even for that petitioner had submitted her explanation dated 04.02.2025, refuting the allegations made therein. The aforesaid enquires in pursuance to the charge memos are pending. The petitioner is stated to be eligible to be promoted to next higher post of Town Planning Officer and in view of the pendency of aforesaid disciplinary proceedings the present writ petition is filed. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that charge issued when the petitioner’s case was under consideration for promotion to the post of Town Planning Officer and she would urge that it would suffice, if a direction be given to the respondents to consider her case for promotion in terms of G.O.Ms.No.257 General Administration (Ser.C) Department, dated 10.06.1999. 4. memos were 3 *5, Learned Government Pleader for Services-I did not refute the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, without touching the 6. merits of the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of, with the consent of both the counsel, at the stage of admission, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner’s case for promotion to the post of Town Planning Officer in terms of G.O.Ms.No.257, dated 10.06.1999, if the petitioner is in the zone of consideration and fulfills all requisite qualifications.
