The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following main prayer: "(i) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding thereby the Respondent no.02, for registration of the petitioner in U.P. Nurses and Midwives Council Forthwith for Post Basic (Nursing) as the petitioner has completed her Post Basic (Nursing) in 2022 and her registration is pending for consideration since 29.07.2025." 3. Considering the relief as sought, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.2 to take a decision on the pending application for registration with all expedition preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
