Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent no. 1 and Sri Anuj Tandon, Advocate who has filed his Vakalatnama on behalf of the respondent no. 2 which is taken on record. With the consent of learned counsel appearing on behalf of the contesting parties, the instant writ petition is being finally decided. Contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that despite the petitioner having been issued with the charge sheet in the year 2020, he having submitted his reply yet the said disciplinary proceedings are still pending for consideration and no final order has been passed till date. Sri Tandon, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent no. 2 states that an endevour would be made to finalize the disciplinary proceedings within the time as specified by this Court. Considering that as the disciplinary proceedings have been pending with the respondent no. 2 since the last almost five and half years as such, the instant writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent no. 2 to conclude the said disciplinary proceedings against the petitioner in accordance with law and pass a final order in the same which order would be passed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. It is also provided that in case any grievance of the petitioner still subsist it would be open for him to approach this Court again.
