Today, when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader, based on the written instructions provided to him by the Tahsildar, Thiruchuli Taluk, submits that there is no such excommunication. There is a dispute between two groups for election. 3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that a similar stand has been taken by the respondent Police.
