RAGHUNANDAN RAO DATE : 1st May 2025 P C : The petitioner claims that he had preferred a Securitization Application bearing S.A.No.84 of 2025 before the Debts Recovery Tribunal, Visakhapatnam in the month of January, 2025, which was accompanied by an application seeking interim relief. It is stated that despite repeated requests in that regard, no relief has been granted to the petitioner. It is stated that in the meantime, the respondent Bank has initiated steps to dispossess the petitioner from the premises in question, which would cause prejudice to the interests of the petitioner and render the S.A. academic. 2. Considering the limited controversy of the petitioner, we dispose of this petition with a direction to the Debts Recovery Tribunal, Visakhapatnam to 2 dispose of the interlocutory application filed in S.A.No.84 of 2025 preferably, within a period of six (6) weeks from today. It is made clear that in the meantime, while the respondent Bank would be at liberty to proceed with the auction, status quo shall be maintained with regard to the possession of the petitioner over the secured asset.
