JUSTICE MITALI THAKURIA ORDER Date : 05.08.2025 Heard Mr. R. I. Bhuyan, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. B. Sharma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State respondent. This is an application under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of bail to the accused/petitioner, who has been arrested in connection with Jamunamukh P.S. Case No. 20/2025, under Sections 152/196/299/197(1) (a)/296 of BNS, 2023. The case was fixed today for production of the Case Diary, however it is submitted by Mr. Sharma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, that the case has already been charge-sheeted, vide Charge-Sheet No. 24/2025, dated 30.06.2025. In this context, Mr. Bhuyan, learned counsel for the petitioner, has submitted that the accused/petitioner is innocent and he is no way connected in the alleged offence. However, he has been arrested in connection with the case on 26.06.2025 and for last 41 days, he has been in custody. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for both sides and also considering the fact that the case has already been charge-sheet, vide Charge-Sheet No. 24/2025, dated 30.06.2025, the accused/petitioner is hereby Page No.# 3/3 directed to appear before the learned Court below with an appropriate application for regular bail, which shall be considered by the learned Trial Court in accordance with law.
