By the present Writ Petition, the Petitioner who is working as Treasury Officer in the District Kondagaon, is questioning the transfer order dated 24/03/2025, whereby the petitioner has been posted as Deputy Director (Finance), in Civil Supplies Corporation, Raipur. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the order of posting has RAHUL JHA Digitally signed by RAHUL JHA Date: 2025.04.03 14:31:48 +0530 2 been made by the State Govt. by giving the benefit of time bound pay scale. He submits that the petitioner is going to retire on 30/06/2025 and at the fag end of his service, the petitioner is being posted in the Civil Supplies Corporation, Raipur, which is illegal and contrary to the policy of the State Govt. 3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that the order impugned is not a transfer order, but by giving benefit of time bound pay scale to the petitioner, he has been posted as Deputy Director (Finance) in the Civil Supplies Corporation, as such, there is no illegality in the impugned order passed by the respondents’ authorities. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the pleadings made in the Writ Petition. 5. Looking to the fact that the petitioner is going to retire on 30/06/2025, therefore, the present posting, at the fag end of his service, is not absolutely proper and only for the aforesaid reasons, the impugned order dated 24/03/2025 in respect of the petitioner, is hereby quashed. The petitioner be permitted to work at his present place of posting as Treasury Officer in the District Kondagaon (C.G.). 6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is allowed to the above extent.
