Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel appearing on behalf of the opposite parties. 2. Present petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India has been filed seeking direction to authority concerned for considering petitioner's case for regularization in service since year 1997 when persons employed subsequent to petitioner have been regularized. Further prayer for determining seniority of petitioner since year 1997 has also been sought. 3. With regard to aforesaid grievance, petitioner is said to have submitted a representation but seeks liberty to file a fresh representation before authority concerned. 4. Learned counsel for petitioner restricts prayer for decision on representation of petitioner. 5. Considering the innocuous prayer, without adverting to merits of the case, liberty is granted to petitioner to file fresh representation before opposite party no.2 i.e. Director/Chief Engineer, Rural Engineering Department, U.P. who shall consider and decide the same in accordance with law, by a reasoned and speaking order within a period of eight weeks from receipt of representation of petitioner along with a certified copy of this order. 6.
