For Petitioner : Mr.P.Banuprasath For R1 & R2 : Mrs.K.Malathi, Additional Government Pleader ORDER The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 09.07.2025, seeking issuance of computer chitta in his name in respect of the property situated in Survey No.211/3, Nangupatti Village, Iluppurr Taluk, Pudukottai District. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.P.Banuprasath, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. _________ https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.(MD) No.22804 of 2025 3.According to the petitioner, 81 ares of land in the subject survey number has been in possession and enjoyment of the petitioner's family for several years. Based on the long possession, an assignment patta was issued in favour of the petitioner on 06.02.1994 and the UDR records also stand in the name of the petitioner for an extent of 81ares in the above mentioned survey number. The petitioner submitted a representation on 09.07.2025, seeking issuance of computer chitta in his name, based on the assignment issued in his favour. The said representation has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that in view of the larger extent of land involved in this matter, the first respondent is the competent authority to consider the representation of the petitioner. 5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.07.2025 and pass final _________ https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.(MD) No.22804 of 2025 orders on its own merits, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
