Page No.# 2/2 BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SOUMITRA SAIKIA ORDER 07.04.2025 Heard Mr. S. Borthakur, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Also heard Ms. U. Das, learned Government Advocate appearing for the State of Assam. The petitioner has approached this Court seeking directions for the release of his pending bills for hiring of his vehicle by the respondent authority. The petitioner has raised the grievance that an amount of Rs. 9,06,075/- already been paid and the remaining balance amount of Rs. 3,91,682/- is shown to be outstanding which is payable by the respondent department. Accordingly, since the department has already admitted the said amount required to be paid to the petitioner. In view of the specific averment that the amount of Rs. 3,91,682/- is shown as outstanding and payable to the petitioner, this Court disposes of the writ petition with a direction that the amount shown to be payable by the respondent no.3 to the petitioner shall be released within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of in terms of the above.
