06/ 13.08.2025: Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Jama P.S. Case No. 05/2025, registered under sections 126(2), 132, 190, 191(2), 223, 285, 352 of BNS, 2023, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dumka.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner happens to be one of the villager and due to accident one man has died and pursuant to that protest was going and petitioner is alleged to be one of the protestor. He submits that in identical situation one of the co-accused has been granted anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No. 2177 of 2025. On these grounds, he submits that the petitioner may kindly be provided privilege of anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer and submits that allegations are there.

Considering that petitioner is alleged to be one of the protestor and in identical situation one of the co-accused has been granted anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No. 2177 of 2025, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the above named, petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned court within three weeks from today and in the event of his surrender / arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 25,000/- (twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dumka, in connection with Jama P.S. Case No. 05/2025, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 482 (2) of B.N.S.S, 2023.
