Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 2. The petitioner was arraigned as A.3 in Crime No.17 of 2025 of Anantapur Rural Police Station, Ananthapuram District, registered for the alleged offences under Sections 126(2), 351(3) read with 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, on the strength of the complaint of the 2nd respondent. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on account of civil disputes between the petitioner and the 2nd respondent, the petitioner was falsely implicated in the crime. The learned counsel further submits that the offences alleged against the petitioner are punishable below 7 years and, therefore, seeks a direction to the police to follow the procedure provided under Section 35(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. 4. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Station House Officer, Anantapur Rural Police Station, Ananthapuram District, is directed to follow the procedure as contemplated under Section 35(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, insofar as the petitioner is concerned, for the purpose of investigation in connection with Crime No.17 of 2025. This order would CRL.P. No.4306 of 2025 not preclude the investigation officer for filing charge sheet or final report after completion of the investigation. 5.
