Marak, Adv (R:3) (ORAL) Heard learned counsels appearing for the parties. The petitioner has approached this Court for quashing of the FIR dated 11.06.2025 in Lumdiengjri P.S. Case No.73 of 2025 on the basis of a compromise deed dated 01.08.2025 entered into between the petitioner 2025:MLHC:980 and the private respondent No.3. The learned counsels appearing for the respondents have no objection to the prayer made in the petition. However, it appears that the offence involved in the matter is under section 303(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, which is a compoundable offence. Since, the offence alleged is compoundable, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this petition with liberty to approach the appropriate Court. In view of the above, this petition stands dismissed on withdrawal with liberty as prayed for.
