Petitioner's claim for compensation under the Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Yojana has been rejected only on the ground that there is a delay of 82 days in filing of the claim, which is beyond the maximum period permissible in law. It is, therefore, submitted that in view of the subsequent government order, the claim of the petitioner is liable to be examined, afresh. In the facts of the case, this writ petition stands disposed of permitting the petitioner to represent her claim before the respondent no. 2, by annexing all materials in support of her claim, together with a certified copy of this order. The concerned authority shall accord consideration to the petitioner's claim on merits for payment of compensation, in terms of the aforesaid scheme, by means of a reasoned order within a period of three months, from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
