Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel who appears on behalf of respondent State. 2. This petition has been filed by the petitioners with the following prayers :- "1. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the Respondent No.3/Ld. Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue), Lucknow to pass an appropriate order under Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act, 2002 (n Case No.318 of 2025 (Computerized Case No.D202510460000318) titled as Punjab National Bank Vs. M/s Arun & Company and ors and put the petitioner bank to the physical possession of the secured assets as per the provisions of the SARFAESI Act, 2002." 3. Learned Standing Counsel has submitted that the petitioner Bank had initiated proceedings against private respondents under Section 14 of the Securitization and Reconstructions of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interests Act ( hereinafter referred to as "SARFAESI Act") before the respondent no.3 in January, 2025. The said application has remained undecided till date. 4. In view of the prayer made in the petition, the petition is disposed of finally with direction to the respondent no.3/Addl. District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue), Lucknow to consider and decide the application of the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him.
