If any high-tension towers are erected, the landowner is entitled to get compensation. 3.However, the determination of compensation ought to be carried out by the second respondent/District Collector. The 7th respondent, Joint Director of Horticulture Department, cannot determine the compensation and he is not the appropriate authority. Therefore, the second respondent/District Collector is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.07.2023. The second respondent/District Collector shall issue notice to the petitioner and to the Tamilnadu Tranmission Corporation Limited (TANTRANSCO) and conduct enquiry and thereafter, pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.
