The present petition has been filed with the following prayer: "I. To issue an appropriate direction/order to the Learned Rent Tribunal (respondent No.1) to decide the Misc. Civil Appeal (Rent Appeal) No.167 of 2024 (Smt. Tabassum Noor Vs. Sartaj Ahmad and others) within a time bound period of 30 days in view of the fact that the said appeal has been pending for more than 420 days which is in excess of the statutory period of 60 days provided under Section 35(2) and Section 33(2) of the U.P. Act No. 16 of 2021 and Rule 12(7) of the Rules, 2021; II. To issue an appropriate direction/order to the Learned Rent Tribunal (respondent No.1) to also decide the cross-appeal Misc. Civil Appeal (Rent Appeal) No.170 of 2024 (Sartaj Ahmad and others Vs. Smt. Tabassum Noor) within a time bound period of 30 days." 3. Considering the relief as sought, the present petition is disposed of directing the court concerned to consider and decide the aforesaid appeal in accordance with law with all expedition preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
