The present application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the applicant Vineet Singh with the following prayers to quash the entire proceeding of Complaint Case No. 6198 of 2021 (Prashant Kumar Vs. Vineet Singh) under Section 138 Negotiable Instrument Act, Police Station- Chandpur, District- Bijnor as well as summoning order dated 17.02.2022 passed by Additional Court, Bijnor, pending in the court of Additional Court, Bijnor and with a further prayer to stay the entire proceeding of the aforesaid case. 5. This matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court vide order dated 23.03.2023 subject to deposit of Rs. 24,000/- by the applicant. As per report of the Mediation Centre dated 28.07.2023, the applicant has not deposited the said money before the Centre till 27.07.2023. 6. Perused the records. 7. Since there is no one appearing on behalf of the applicant(s) to press this application U/s 482 Cr.P.C., the matter being likely to have become infructuous by efflux of time. 8. The present application is dismissed as infructuous. 9. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
