This petition purportedly in public interest has been filed by the petitioner, claiming himself to be a social worker. 3. Submissions have been made that the water tax being charged by the respondents in relation to Transport Nagar, is contrary to the provisions of the Uttar Pradesh Water Supply and Sewerage Act, 1975. 4. A perusal of the petition indicates that except for indicating the status of the petitioner, as social worker, and the occupation in the affidavit is also indicated as social worker, nothing more has been indicated. 5. The petition though pertains to Transport Nagar, the petitioner is resident of Behsa and even otherwise, he has not indicated at whose instance, the petitioner has got the cause to file the present PIL.
