Heard learned counsel for the applicant and leraned AGA for the State of U.P. and perused the record. 2. Present application has been filed for the following main relief:- "Issue an appropriate order, or direction for the expeditious disposal of Criminal Misc. Case No. 5100 of 2024 (Anju Verma Singh v. Ranjeet Singh) under Section 12 of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, pending before the Learned court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate V, Lucknow, within a reasonable time frame as deemed fit by this Hon'ble Court." 3. Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that petition under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 was filed on 29.08.2024 but till today prayer for interim relief has not been decided, therefore, Court below may be directed to decide the application for interim relief under Section 23 of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, expeditiously. 4. Learned AGA for the State submitted that documents annexed with this application reveal that notice has not been served on the private respondent. 5. Considering the contents of petition as well as submissions of the learned counsel for the parties, present petition is disposed of with liberty to applicant to move fresh application before the Court below concerned with the prayer for expeditious disposal of the application for interim relief. In case, such an application is filed by the applicant before the Court below, the same shall be considered and decided in accordance with law, expeditiously. 6. With the aforesaid, the application is disposed of.
