1. By this petition, the petitioner seeks the following reliefs:
“10.1) This Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue appropriate writ and direct the respondent authorities to release the due/ undisputed amount of the petitioner along with interest @9% per annum within such outer limit Digitally signed by GOPAL SINGH Date: 2025.04.30 14:29:46 +0530
2 as the Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the light of facts and circumstances of the case. 10.2) This Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue appropriate writ and direct the respondents to kindly disburse the due/ undisputed amount of the petitioner after finalization of the bills within such outer limit as the Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the light of facts and circumstances of the case. 10.3) This Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire records leading to the instant case, for kind perusal of this Hon'ble Court. 10.4) Any other relief which this Hon'ble Court deem fit and proper may also kindly be granted to the petitioner in the interest of justice along with cost of the petition.”

The writ petition has been filed only for a direction to the respondents for clearance of all undisputed and admitted dues of the petitioner in respect of the work executed by the petitioner vide work order dated 1.8.2018 arising out of a tender for cement road construction in Ward No.6, access road to Akash Ganga Sabzi Mandi.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents also have in fact meanwhile processed the claim of the petitioner, but, thereafter there has been no further development so far as releasing of the dues is concerned. He further submits that till date there has been no dispute
3 whatsoever raised by the respondents in respect of the quantity and the quality of the work completed by the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the Municipal Corporation appearing on advance notice submits that subject to due verification and scrutiny of the claim of the petitioner, appropriate steps shall be taken at the earliest within a period of 60 days.

Given the statement made by learned counsel for the Municipal Corporation, the writ petition, at this juncture, stands disposed of directing the respondent No.2/Municipal Corporation to ensure that the admitted undisputed dues of the petitioner in respect of the work executed by the petitioner from the work order dated 1.8.2018 is cleared subject to verification within an outer limit of 60 days from the date of production of a copy of this order.
6. With the aforesaid observations and directions, the writ petition is disposed of. Sd/-
